About Me

I qualified as a CranioSacral Therapist in 2009 following years working with children. As I settled into my role as a therapist, I observed a clients’ ability to release emotional memories during a CranioSacral treatment. Also known as somatic release, a suppressed memory, once addressed through the body as well as through the mind, can be released, freeing the person from the associated emotional pain. Through these experiences, and further training, I became interested in treating emotional trauma as well as physical discomfort.

People come for a CranioSacral session for various reasons – to find relief from physical issues such as digestion, migraine, hormonal imbalance, sinus, post-covid symptoms, vertigo, tissue and ligament injury. Some seek relief from stress and general anxiety, Some for more deep-seated emotional trauma. Many people come for regular sessions to feel renewed.

As a CranioSacral Therapist qualified in paediatrics, my background in early years education and child development has given me insight into newborn and infant related issues. I treat difficulties such as colic, reflux, torticollis and feeding, along with a child’s struggle with anxiety and school phobia. I approach each child with gentleness and understanding and build a trusting relationship with them that ensures they feel safe during treatment.

Over the past couple of years, I gained an advanced diploma in Life Coaching with Neuroscience, qualifying me to work in all areas of coaching, from self-awareness and life changes to relationships.
